"Quest: High Stakes", sharing the reward is annoying...SPOILERS
So I just finished this quest, told Sasha I would help her steal the prize and what not, I won the tournament, then someone stole the prize. Once you go to retrieve it, Sasha is like oh yea so even though you won I still came with you to get the coin so I get half.

What really bothered be, was that there is no option to say anything like "♥♥♥♥♥ you don't get ♥♥♥♥ now get out of here before I kill you", and also you can't use Axii to get her to just go away? Like really, I was proud of myself that I won and I don't have a chance to win the full prize that I desrerve?

I originally told her the deal is off after I won, but then nothing happened. I didn't get to examine the crime scene in order to find the prize and get it all to myself.

So, is there any possible way to just win fairly without Sasha's BS? Also, did this bother anyone else?

Oh boo-hoo. So what? It's just money.
I was expecting to geet none of it. After the roll in the hay I caught myself saying "Don't fall asleep you idiot.. Not around her.. That's that. Money gone."
Then he read the letter where she said how tempted she was to rob me but didn't xD

Would have made no difference either way. By that point in the game, Geralt has no need to worry about money. It's just stacking up for no reason.

Well, apprently you can bone her... so there's that (I chose not to, coz I can't cheat on my precious Yen). Also, you get a huge chunk o' cash, anyways. After a certain point, money means nothing.
Haha we're twins! I was thinking the same thing, I have always been faithful! (except I may have kissed Triss when she was drunk at that party, but she probably doesn't even remember!)

I agree that at this point I'm not in need of money but it still bothered me a bit that I couldn't just get my prize considering the fact that I won it fairly. By the way, I'm sure Yen would not approve of your roll in the hay! Lol

Well, Yen doesn't really care 'bout Gerallt's sluts when they ain't together. So 'fore I got to Skellige I did my best to have sex with every girl I could - Keira, town's sluts... So not a big deal :) But when you're with Yen, you can't cheat on her unless you're not a canonical Witcher :)

Lol! You reminded me, I should confess that I may have hired one of the prostitutes... but all we did was talk ;)

Did you win every Gwent game in a row with no re loads?

Then you never won it fairly to begin with.. The other players can't time travel.

Ok, ok true. But if I hadn't reloaded I would still be faced with the original dilemma. Also, time traveling is about as realistic as when a barber makes your hair or beard longer. Also, horses can't teleport and yet Roach does it all the time.

Yes, this is just a money. And just how developers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game with dialoges like in this quest. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ illusion of choice, "hey. but u can bone that ugly lady" (yes, she is ugly IMO, sry). Just think how stupid this quest is. Geralt won a tournament, okey. Than someone stole the money, thats okey too. BUT. The sponsor (the last guy u must win to win tournament) is just "Let the guards search for the thief". He said that in front of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ winner (Geralt), why the ♥♥♥♥ he cant say "Hey Geratl, u won. Go find your money, guards will help you". AT LEAST THAT WOULD BE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOGIC. But what we (players of W3) got? A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HALF-♥♥♥♥♥ HALF-THIEF . Why i need to share gold with this "lady" (♥♥♥♥♥). Geralt is like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Batman or Sherlock. He dont need a ♥♥♥♥♥ to help him. ♥♥♥♥ this quest and ♥♥♥♥ the illusion of choice in this game. A lot of people world wide calling W3 "A king of RPGs", well they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Sry. Quests like this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that up. I really want to call W3 a King of RPGs, BUT I CANT. Sorry for English and Caps.

Yap, agreed. What I don't like about choices in that quests is the fact that she just jumps in and says "We found coins together we'll split it" and she simply didn't done a ♥♥♥♥. Especially if you do not even team up with her at first and only team up with her after tournament. Annoying ♥♥♥♥.

Don't get me wrong, I still think this is a great game. But I do agree that this quest was bothersome and did not give a very fair amount of choices to the player. In most cases, from what I can remember, this is the only quest where I really felt cheated and didn't feel as if it was my own decisions that led to the outcome.

Yea, for real. From what I can remember she really didn't do anything at all to help. I just don't see why Geralt can't manipulate her in any way shape or form like he can with a vast majority of the other characters/quests.

my only disappointment in that questline it wasn't sasha stealing that gold I was so looking forward to that :P

I agreed to her help thinking I'll just use her and then tell her to ♥♥♥♥ off. When the time came there was no such option! Geralt gladly handed over 4.5k crowns to some wench he just met. What the ♥♥♥♥?
