Master Marksman glitched or broken?

I have been trying to unlock the Master Marksman achievement for the last couple of hours. During this time I have taken a meticulous tally of kills made with headshots, where the screen has shaken to confirm that I have scored a headshot.

By my count I have over 100 headshots, made on human enemies by whittling down their health entirely with the crossbow, at the Devil's Pit.

I am using v1.08 without any mods or any additional content which may prevent it from unlocking. I have been unlocking achievements on the same save and unlocked Humpty Dumpty and similar achievements yesterday.

Is the Master Marksman broken or glitched? Has anyone unlocked it after v1.08, or is it just glitchy and I should just keep trying until it unlocks?

The hitbox for this game is really bad. The screen shake is just a Crit hit not a headshot. I killed almost 150 enemies to unlock it. Also it seems that there is a problem with achievements after 1.08.1.

After the most recent hotfix the achievements are working again, just unlocked Master Marksman.
I can add that it unlocked for me with a shot in the head but WITHOUT the shaky screen. Every source said you need the shaky cam for the headshot to count towards total but since what happend to me I guess you only need the kill with a shot in the head.
Or well, maybe it was just bugged for me and that unlocking shot was supposed to be with shaky cam.
