What does the Hardware Cursor option (on PC) do?
I know for one it makes using the mouse in the menus/inventory smoother, but aside from that, are there any differences?

I tried to test and see if it makes panning at lower framerates better, but I can't tell for sure if it makes any difference or not.

It means that your mouse wont be affected by the framerate so it will be as smooth as possible. Nothing else is affected.

Like he said, its not gonna be laggy or slow motion

So it's just the mouse in the menus basically? While playing the game itself when you control the camera with the mouse, there is no difference (or is there)?

yes, only in menu, no more difference in game
