"Just imagine if someone had suggested checking the control options".. I was right. Total melt down. State of it in here now..
I apologize for any mayhem my words may have caused. I'm sure Hex will try to be more mindful before wielding the ungodly power that is common sense hence forth.
Or leave the crossbow totally out of the equation as it's all but totally worthless against anything that isn't flying or under water.
Ah, thanks. That actually helped. :)
Good luck with the girl kissing and, hey, lots of guys take a few goes to pass drivers ed!
During exploration of Touissant I wasn't able to draw any sword, so I checked quests - and there it was. Big Feet to Fill: Second Group task accidentally started without possibility to complete it. I wasn't able to get any closer to workers - like they were under the invisible dome (thanks, Stephen King!).
Workaround (literally): I've tried to reach worker I had to do some "fisting" with - I did it with Igni sign. When he stepped out (after a while he called for a friend!) I was able to deliver to him some democracy and finish the hot damn quest. After completing it swords could be drawed again.
(And no they're not the fist only fights that won't allow weapons)
Well thank you, due to your comment I did figure out how to draw my sword when Geralt doesn't do it automatically. In addition, I guess when you played your first open world RPG, you never had any questions at all and figured it all out on your own. In which case I respect that. But would it truly hurt you to be kind to the noobs amongst us who do not have your superior knowledge and may at times have questions whilst figuring out what is, for us, a completely new concept? Or should we just stay away because we haven't been introduced to it in time and are now stupid idiots because of it? Thank you in advance for your answer :)
Thank you sir you saved my day!
I did the exact same thing, i got too close to that bunch of drunken workers near the water and one became hostile and tried to fist fight me. I rode away because i didn't want to start that quest yet. Then soon after i found out that i couldn't for the love of god draw my sword to cut down the archespores. I got so frustrated after S/L several times and quit the game a few times and still wouldn't solve the issue.
Hope everyone could just post useful comment like you instead of mindless banter.
And also I beat every boss in the game with fists on Blood and Broken Bones difficulty with the exception of wraiths, werewolves and That one incect boss in the side quest
