Brothers in Arms - TW3 Bug Fix and Restored Content Collection - Next-Gen
AutoLoot All-in-One NG Update
I just found out Brothers in arms doesn't work lol
It's already fixed!
Same with autoloot mod.
Add friendly HUD to the list ... it's literally the only mod I have running and I get the same error message on launch
I checked the mod posts to see if there is an update for mod but mod author says CDPR has intergraded this mod with the new patch so there is no need for it anymore
I've removed the mod and double checked merged scripts to see if there is any traces of it left to clean up but there wasn't . (I had no other mod conflicting with it so I didn't need to merge anything related)
And yet when I try to launch the game I am still getting the same compiler error :
Error [content0]game\gameplay\effects\effects\other\oil.ws(177): Could not find function 'ShouldAutoApplyOil'
Error [content0]game\gui\main_menu\ingamemenu.ws(1491): Could not find function 'SetAutoApplyOils'
Error [content0]game\gui\main_menu\ingamemenu.ws(1493): Could not find function 'SetAutoApplyOils'
Error [content0]game\player\states\vehicles\horseriding.ws(141): Could not find function 'ShouldAutoApplyOil'
how should I resolve this?
I mean it is like downloading 1.32 mods to next gen ? Kind of obvious
can you help me with something else at least?
Now that I am removing all the mods again , I am not sure if this folder was from a mod "dlcDLC2ImprovedStrings" it's under the DLC folder , I've checked integrity of the game files and got a 3 mb patch but game still not launching , I wonder if I should delete this folder as well
I had the same issue but luckily I found a way.
All you have to do is to keep the auto apply oils mod. I've never used that mod before, now I downloaded it and the game is working fine. (downloaded this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/625?tab=files)
Not all mods need to be deleted but most would either refuse to launch , show you auto oil message or just crash so you need to check which ones do that and delete them if nothing does that then you can keep the mods (for example I am using 2022 mod and it still works in 4.03 despite lack of updated to mod)
Anyway to ensure you delete mods correctly just go to nexus , download history , prievew and type the name of mod (or dlc) into search to delete
dlcDLC2ImprovedStrings that is some mod file so delete it.
First turn off all Combat and Oil Related mods.
Then if it still gives you script compiler errors disable half at a time till you find a set of mods where it doesn't crash on.
Do this until the game loads fine.
Ok the problem mod is in the half you just disabled.
Now comes the hard part. You'll want to enable only the ones you just disabled. Your wanting to do the reverse now - you want to find the mod or small subset of mods that's causing the issue.
With W3MM and doing half at a time it shouldn't take you more then 3-4 passes to find the set causing the issue.
