Where's the armorer in Mulbrydale? Need to play gwent with the dude

He is a person in distress just southwest of his home town near the bank of the river there (you save him from bandits). After you save him Mulbryvale is my favorite spot to pop in and enhance weps/armor and maybe sell a few things to him, happy hunting!

Yes, he's definitely a Swordsmith - not an armorer. Plus, he's a bit bugged, in a similar way to the Blacksmith in Blackbough. If he won't talk, walk away from him some distance, then meditate, then go back and try again. Funnily enough, when I did manage to talk to him, play him, and beat him at Gwent (about an hour ago), I didn't get a card, just a gold nugget...

Doesn't that just mean that you've already played him and won his card? Are you sure you haven't beaten him before?

Most characters don't have unique cards, instead you win random normal card when beating them for the first time. It's normal to stop winning cards from them, after you get (win or buy) all cards from this random pool.
