Can you KISS Triss and still be with Yennefer? Spoilers obviously
I know in the quest Now or Never when you go to the docks with Triss and Dijkstra you can tell her to stay and "I love you" and that'll trigger the romance scene in the lighthouse, but even before that when you're at the party with Triss and you have the option to kiss her at the fountain, does this still ruin your chance with Yennefer? So long as you only kiss her and then later on let her go at the docks?

The kiss doesn't destroy your chance to be with Yen.
Afaik it's necessary though to do the kiss to actually romance Triss, at least that's what lots of guides say.

Yeah, the no-no is telling them both you love them. Otherwise, you can even romance Triss and then sleep with Yen when you first get to Skellige, and there are no negative repercussions.

That seems pretty strange. I guess Yen and Triss never compare notes.

Triss: Geralt told me he loves me.
Yen: Was this before or after we had sex?

Either that, or maybe they don't care? It's possible, I definitely get the idea that monogamy is not entirely a universal ideal in this world. I even seem to recall a letter to Philipa from one of her lovers that was basically like, "Yeah no big deal if you're sexing this other person, doesn't mean we have to stop does it?"

Yeah, maybe emotional infidelity matters more than sex to them.

Started reading the books and Yen isn't particularly monogamous in them either.

On my first playthrough I romanced them both and got the "you can't have either of us ending." I'm curious, is it possible to romance Triss and reject Yen, then end up with Triss, happily ever after?

Yen is gorgeous but she really annoys me, lol.

The reason I romanced them both was because I did the Triss part first, then afterwards when I was doing the Yen portion of the story, it almost seemed like the game was directing me to be romantic with Yen.

Yes, it's possible.

Triss can compromise the first sex in Skellige between Yen and Geralt because they STILL under the Djinn's affection. But after they cut those ties on personal sidequest from Yen, both Yennefer and Triss are expecting Geralt's independent & clear minds after free from the Djinn's affection. (link story to the book "Last Wish")

This is the same Yennefer can compromise Geralt's bedding Triss on the Witcher 1 & 2 because of Geralt's losing his memory and thoughts of her beloving sorceress was Triss.

Eventually, after The Witcher 2, they are separate after Triss promise to heal Geralt minds. Off game (between TW2 ~ TW3), Triss manage to heal Geralt's memory. But, it comes with bad outcome as Geralt realize that the sorceress in his heart was Yennefer, instead of Triss. Thus, Geralt's crying back to Kaer Morhen and ask papa Vesemir to find Yennefer whereabout.

Meh i dont think any of them cares about sex alone , for example in the first two games you could sleep with the entire world around you , triss wouldnt say a word about it , BUT in 1 she got pissed at shani and only shani , the one you could "love".

In this one i dont think anyone ever mention you sleeping with the other women either , all that matters to triss or yen is if you are loving the other one.

The letter to Phillipa was from a female lover and she seemed far more pi$$ed about being dumped for Dijkstra than that.

Hey, I was trying not to spoil!

And just to confirm that Kiera has no effect between Yennefer and Triss romances?

None of the other encounters that you can have affect this in any way. Keira, Jutta, various prostitutes... nothing.

Edit: Why is the word 'pros.titute' censored? Christ Steam is ridiculous.

So it's like real life... it's not really cheating if you don't love them =P

If anything Geralt gets less tail in 3 than any of the games. If you follow the right quest paths in witcher 1 you can even bang vampires, dryads and etc. Not to mention a ton of love cards per act.

how many people in Geralt's world could say they've ploughed the lady of the lake?
