Inventory full, not sure what to keep and sell. Any advice?
Hello, I am a massive hoarder of items and I literally loot and keep everything apart from weapons I sell those, but I have a million plants and relic items for alchemy/crafting apparently.

I am afraid of selling some items incase I cannot get them again.. not sure what is a MUST KEEP

It couldnt be any simpler. Sell off the swords and armor you dont use, since those are the things that eat up inventory space

Yes I did say I sell the weapons, meaning armour too.

I'd say sell them all, if its armor and swords, just pick the best of the lot and use it, keep a backup steel and silver sword when your weapon eventually degrades from all the combat. The potion reagents you dont really need to keep a lot, just keep a maximum of five for each item you have, for crafting and potions, I would argue that if you already have created potions using said items you can safely sell them because all you need to replenish potions and bombs is alchogest or any strong alcohol, hoarding isnt really necessary once you are able to create Witcher gaar, everything you get just isnt worth keeping. (I know I'm a pack rat too... by selling excess items you gain more coin and lighten your load)

Sell weapons/armor/saddle that are worse than what you already use, and also items from the "junk" category if you do not intend to dismantle them for crafting. Ingredients usually only weigh 0.01 each, but you can collect a lot of them over time, so sell anything of which you have too many and/or can be easily acquired again if needed.

Also, if you do not already have one, use a saddle bag to increase the carrying capacity, and upgrade it to a better one when available.

Keep no more than 10 of each ingredients for crafying. The rest are easily bought

Do some horse races for some saddlebags.

Keep the drowner tounges and stuff used in potions.

Dismantle animal hides gives me huge empty space. Hope this might help.

I unkowningly loaded up with plates, broken rakes, fishing rods, cups, mugs, hides, that kinda crap. Find a regular merchant and sell all those, those useless things can actually weigh a lot.

Drop x-bow bolts. They weigh a ton and are pretty useless.

Sell all junk, unused armor/weapons and any read books.

Keep all relic crafting materials. Sell most common and magic ones. As someone suggested, keep 10 of each.

but... but... what about relic armour/ swords. I hoard those and it eats up space. I only have some recipes for them, but for the ones I don't, I keep.

Good thing there are categorized inventory tabs specifically for that!

i like keeping some of the swords, they look cool. I use the nexus mod for extra carrying capacity. I usually run around 150-160 but i dont wanna get rid of all my stuff, i like hoarding it and looking through it sometimes. I get rid of the junk and basic weapons and armour but any nice stuff i always keep. and i keep as many ingredients as possible.
