I cant get Enhanced Ursine boots?

ive been in this area before and now since the dlc came out i came here to get the chest, and its already looted and i cant get the boots, any ideas?

Everyone probably knows this but just in case: you have to activate the proper chest by examining the red wolf sign first.

I personally love the Ursine gear, especially the swords...

There might be more than one chest in the area. I thought the masterfraft ursine steel sword was bugged for me because I opened a chest in the area and it was generic loot. Turns out the proper chest was a little more tucked away.

By the time you get to lvl20+ armor choice barely matters unless you want a sign heavy build (use griffin). You just become so over powered anyway you can wear a plain shirt and still do fine.
