An Craite’s quests:
Possession
The Lord of Undvik
King’s Gambit
Coronation

So I guess you did king's gambit? where you chose to support either cerys or hjalmar (after the bear attack?) and the proceeded to help whomever you chose?

But what if I not supported pretenders to the throne and there is no quest coronation, then what to do?

FYI, I have followed the famouse witcher's neutrality and did not help anybody with the investigation. The quest part "help resolve the matter of the succession" remained as active. I then attended the coronation where I think I saw Hjalmar coronated... however, in the later conversation with druid Ermion later I asked what did he think about the new ruler of Skellige (at the same time Crach en Craite said that the investigation was still ongoing). Ermion said that Svanrige (Birna's son) would probable be a pawn in Birna's hands and would sign a peace treaty on weak terms with Nilfgaard. So, from this I assume that if you don't help anyone, then you will not have the support of Cerys or Hjalmar, and Svanrige is the new king.

Came the reply from tech support. If you no support candidate for the throne and not to start investigation into the attack bears - the coronation don't starts and would not achieve.

I'm kinda curious with this one: what will happen if I did both Possession and Lord of Undvik but failed King's Gambit? Will Hjalmar still help me?

How do you fail King’s Gambit?

If you finsihed Coronation, no matter who gets elected, Hjalmar will help you.

You can fail it if you do the "Isle of mist" quest first.

Ah, ok. You must finish Coronation for Hjalmar to help you.
