"Overkill" Achievement [solved]

been trying my combo of hardest mode + tracking arrow + devil's puffball 2 + dancing star 2 for amost 4 hours at devil's pit and still nothing. is this achievement that freakin hard?
any of you did it elseways?

It has been a log time since I played this game.. If I remember correct overkill is where you posion bleed and set the enemy on fire.. The best way would be to craft viper sword which you can find in white orchard and then add a posion rune to it.. Buy the bleeding skill which can be found in the fast attack skill tree ( the 5th skill in that tree ).. First set the enemy on fire and then keep hitting them with the sword

I got it after 240 hours....So you have to have weapon that can do all in same time..Just keep hitting that light attack.

3 rune slot sword gets this achievement easy.

I got it on my 2nd playthrough.

With Devil's Puffball + Broadhead Bolt (100% bleeding) + upgraded Igni (100% burning).
The trick is you have to be fast : fix on one target, cast sign, throw bomb, release bolt. Don't try to get this achievement by use it against enemy who far below your level because usually they'll die first before all the statuses set in.
And also some would recommend to use "Crippling Strikes" skill for bleeding, I'm against this because sword strikes are far more powerful than crossbow bolt damage, meaning that there's a possibilities that your enemies would also dies faster before all the statuses set in.

I know this is old, but I'm curious. Is there some reason that the Tracking Bolts don't work? They say they have 100% chance to cause bleeding, and when you hit people it says bleeding and they start taking DoT. Despite that though, it never worked until I tried the Broadhead Bolts. It doesn't really make any sense to me seeing that they both cause bleeding.
