Go in and delete your saves from the folder directly, then run the executable.
Play for a while and then exit out and boot up steam and start the game through steam.
Steam will say that the cloud doesnt match your local files and ask you if you want to download from the cloud or upload from your machine.
Upload from your machine and that should reset the sync.
1) Start steam
2) Wait until saves are in sync with cloud
3) Start game
4) When game window appears - go to file browser and delete saves
5) Go back to game window and create new game
6) Save manually (may be not necessary)
7) Close game
8) Let steam sync your saves
For me result is:
- 4 new save files appeared in save folder
- after steam save sync old saves didn't reappear
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dude thanks so much. Can't believe Steam still doesn't allow you delete the cloud saves easily.
This works perfect. Thank you
