Geralt and Roach get caught on everything?

I'm wondering if my game is glitched or if the horse and Geralt are supposed to get stuck on just about everything while trying to navigate around. Crumbs, pebbles all seem to be great obstacles where my character then has to turn and avoid this immediate peril.

Is there a levitate spell anywhere in the game to simply float over things 1-2 feet above the ground?

and it'd be nice to use it when riding down the hill or mountain. it was kind of funny when roach runs using only two front legs. but it starts to annoy.

I've ran into all of those, and still do, small tiny titchy "cliffs" he'll go over, those about the height of a pin. nor will he wade into water above his Hoof, what gives? i wanna swim my horse over the other side. n I've said it often, JUST coz someone reports a "bug" dosnt mean every 1 has it.. Seen few bugs posted here that haven't happened to me in games.

It's just one of the many flaws of Witcher 3, but there are mods to fix things like that. Download the Fearless Roach mod. It will fix everything wrong with horse riding. You won't get stuck on anything, roach won't stop, and you won't have to fight the controls. You won't be able to live without it once you try it. As for Geralt getting stuck on things, I don't use it but there is a mod to fix that as well. They're easy to install, just manual download and move them into the mods folder in your Witcher Folder. Open the game and enjoy. There's nothing wrong with using mods like that, they improve your immersion and are very lore friendly. There are mods to revamp the combat too if you don't like it. Google Nexus mods, search Witcher 3 and then Fearless Roach. Immersive motion is a good one too, it changes run to walk, A to run, and double A to sprint. I don't know why I played 5,000 hours without mods. I can't live without now.

Kind of felt bad for Eskel and Scorpion, when Roach decided to show off and dance down the race course during their race.
