Going for "Pest Control" Achievement

I started a new play through & cleared out Velen but didn't get the achievement. Fair, because I missed 2 things on the map which are quest locked (like the area you explore with keira). My question is that I noticed that the ones I specifically missed were already completed, could I start a Blood & Wine only save, do all the Velen stuff & still get the achievement?

Skellige is honestly easier to get Pest Control from, since some of the main Novigrad/Velen map's monster dens are high level HoS ones. Really don't get this one myself since clearing Novigrad and Velen of all Monster nests takes more effort than Skellige.

yep, you can since blood and wine starts in Velen. i believe it doesn't matter if it is a dlc save or whatever.
