Meaning if you add Igni into a single slot, you'd get Melt Armor, Firetream, Intensity and Pyromaniac (assuming points invested, of course).
Add Quen to a single slot, and we get Exploding Shield, Active Shield, Intensity and Discharge.
This would allow 12 full columns, 48 skills total, instead of the meager 12.
Is Death March like the Insane mode of Witcher 2, where a single death means you have to start the entire game from the beginning again?
No it's kinda like dark mode. Hard but unlimited deaths.
I understand the game seems "easy" to most as is. My concern isn't difficulty, it's adding a little more variety to combat. Right now I just feel that the current limits of the skill tree take away some fun from the game, especially at higher levels when you start accumulating unused skill points. I have the cat armor so im spec'd for quick attacks and have a couple sign and oil talents. It's pretty much just hack and slash. I'm sure griffin or bear specs get boring after awhile, too.
Plus, Geralt being a Witcher is inherently OP anyways.
I'm hoping they will add one more slot in each quadrant in the expansion.
