The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Statistiche:
Very pissed by the romance final results (spoilers)
I ended up being dumped by both Triss and Yenefer and it feels extremely unfair. I did Skellige before Novigrad so I had sex with Yen without having even met Triss in the game yet. A long time after I ended telling Triss I love her and started a romance with her. I later never had any romance with yen, I've refused her when she came to me in Kaer Moren and so on but still the game punishes me with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending that makes no sense. More than 200 hours played to have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad ending, this is so unfair....

Well duh thats for setting each foot on two different boats, your other interactions with yen or triss doesnt matter, only the time where you get to choose to tell them you love them or not matters.

Welcome to the club!
I was on here a few months ago saying the same things. It's awful. It ruined the game for me. I assumed there would be a way to choose in the end. Nope!

Since then, I have played through again, and I chose Yennifer. It did feel much better. However, there really isn't much difference. Instead of being dumped by both, you get one more scene with Yennifer. At the end of the game, you get one of the comic strip stories saying they live happily ever after. Whoop-de-do

Thanks, finally someone who understands. It ruined the game for me too as I don't intend to replay after (because job, life, Fallout 4 etc)

I'd really not chose Yennefer though, I'd be afraid to die in my sleep.

I guess I'll youtube the endings. Sigh.
Yennefer is the canon choice. They are basically married, albeit tumultuously

It feels incredibly unfair because I never ever betrayed Triss after I started the romance. I understand I didn't follow the normal path, but the game also never stopped me to do so. In my playthrough Geralt is a good man betrayed by two heartless feminazis for no obvious reasons and he doesn't even have an option to discuss it when he meets them afterwards. I feel bad for him.
So you had sex with one, then turned around and told the other you loved them....and you think it's unfair that they dumbed you? Lol I'm sure you have a great relationship in real life..How could you be betrayed by Yenn if you're the one who kept turning her down again?

That's what happenes when you don't do their secondary quest and you keep turning them down...you don't get a happy ending with them. What else were you expecting?

TRue. nothing to say more.:steamfacepalm:

Good news is, now you have lots of time to hang out with a real woman.
You guys think the game sucks because you couldn't do both lol....Guys! that's not how relationships work lol!!!

You're right, I just can't stand her. Also, I remember in the book Geralt actually finds her very blah and dislikes her. He knows her beauty is the consequence of a spell and is very unimpressed. I don't remeber him having one nice thought for her until they are bounded by the spell/wish.

I'll be sure to tell the one living with me you gave us your blessing, it's important for us.

Nah, the game is awesome, there's no denying that

Nope. I wish I did now.

If you can reload a save before you left skellige, you need to do the Last wish quest with Yennefer and then tell her you dont love her anymore, then proceed further to bonk Triss.

You can also sleep with Triss then have unicorn sex and still be good. Just dont tell both you love them or ignore their personal quests.

Yes, I think it is the actual problem. It has nothing to do with the sex scenes, it's the love declarations that trigger which ending you are going to get for the romance part of the game.

Unfortunately I can't remember what I actually said., but I don't see me telling a woman to her face "I DON'T LOVE YOU" because I played Geralt as not being a total assface.

It IS possible to love two women, especially when you consider they are both like foster parents to Ciry. May be you just don't love them in the same way.

This all romance stuff is imperfect in my opinion, as in my playthrough the characters reactions feel out of place. I recognize it is a small problem in an otherwise excellent game.

Anyway the devs recognize themselves the romance part needs tweeking and are going to release a DLC to enhance the dialogue options with Triss and Yennifer, along with a new character you can romance.

With the new game+ being released I may have to postpone Fallout 4. I must have finished Skellige more than 100 hoursago anyway.

It would have been nice to have a choice after meeting both of them, once you are nice to the first one you are doomed if you find the second one more interesting.

I'm fine with Geralt being alone because since Witcher 1 I always slept with everything that I could with and played him like a manwhore but at least having a last chance to pick someone would have been nice.

At first I went for Triss since you never get to know Yennefer in the other games but after playing her questline she won me over, sadly it was too late for poor Geralt. It would not be surprising for Geralt to love two women because of the memory loss but he should have been allowed to pick one instead of forced to pick "both".

Yes, I also would have prefered to be able to chose my character's love life. It's a game after all, not a lesson of morale. And they are supposed to be witches, not strong representatives of the League of Virtue.

Not really, she used Geralt amnesia to get to ♥♥♥♥ him. Yennifer should be angry at her, not Geralt.

They should both be pissed at her. 'Course I'da just dropped her into the nearest sewer and let the rats eat her face off...but that's just me.
