Skellige's Most Wanted werewolf bug (this is how you fix it) GOG version
Anyone playing with the GOG version of Witcher 3 with the original DLC will still run into this bug (not sure if Galaxy automatically fixes it since I DL the files manually due to bugs with Galaxy client). Here's how to fix it for people who are still looking for a solution.

1. Uninstall DLC12 (unins012.exe in The Witcher 3 folder). Also make sure DLC12 folder is completely deleted!

2. Download and install the newest version of 'Skellige's Most Wanted DLC' from your GOG account. Latest is v2.0.0.34, the original release of this DLC with the werewolf bug was v2.0.0.33.

3. Load your save game before you fight the werewolf, it doesn't matter if you've already started the quest. He will now die once you defeat him, followed by a cutscene and quest completion with XP! :)

Werewolf bug has been fixed already. I have the GOG version, play with Galaxy. I did it yesterday in NG+ without a problem. Did it a couple of days ago in a normal game, worked perfectly.

There was a hotfix for that bug weeks ago.

Yes, the hotfix was released on Steam 'weeks ago' but as stated in the original post, this is for players who use the GOG version and have the ORIGINAL release of dlc v2.0.0.33. The only way to correct the problem is by dl'ing the newer DLC version v2.0.0.34 . Those who got the DLC sometime after the initial release will most likely not be affected by this bug since they're already running the updated release of DLC 12.

CDPR should include this fix as part of their normal GOG patch. As of GOG patch v1.08.4 it still doesn't correct the bug. The only way to fix it is to manually uninstall DLC 12, then manually re-download and install the updated DLC 12. Unfortunately the GOG file page doesn't show version numbers of the DLC so there's no way of knowing if it's been updated until after re-downloading it and seeing the version number :/

People are still asking how to fix it on the GOG forums as it's still an outstanding issue. I posted the instructions since lots of GOG players are here too! :)

I'm trying to find out what versions of the DLC I have installed but GOG just seems to show that I have "FREE DLC PROGRAM (16 DLC)". I've looked in the folder and tried opening some of the binaries to see if I can locate a version number somewhere. Perhaps GOG's changed the way the display DLC as this is an old thread? Anyone know how I can find out?
