Some places I can't reach - how to get there (spoliers, maybe!)
Good day, I am striving to discover all places on the map, yet with few of them I have a difficulty, even though I am at the very end of the game and should have access to previously locked doors, etc.

Two places are shown here - one on the main Skellige island, can't figure out how to get to that place in or near the palace. Second place is on a small island to the west...

There are two more places next to each other in Velen. There should be an entrance somewhere to those ruins, but I ran around in 100 m radius and did not find it.

The last one is in Velen. I assume that this one is associated with DLC quest Fool's Gold, but since I played for an evil witcher and did not help the fellow with the pig, that quest did not even start for me, and the question mark seems just stayed there. But maybe there is something hidden and you know more?

your tips how to get there are very welcome, guys!

Firts: the island is reachable by boat, and when you enter the castle, look to your right just inside. There's a crumbled wall/tower/something there and you can drop down the hole in the pavement. There's an easter egg there, but no quest associated that I remember.

Second: the place is inside Kaer Trolde Palace, and is reached during a quest. Maybe you can reach it without the quest, I don't know. I remember I was with Cerys

Third: the place of power is underground and is reached during a quest with Keira Metz . The cave is quest related, but should be reachable without breaking anything by an unmarked entrance along the coast to the south-east. The other one I don't remember but I think it's either in the same cave or a burial site, try your witcher senses. If the greyed out guarded treasure that sits nearby wasn't a golem, then the question mark is, and is in the same cave as the place of power.

The last one I don't know.

First one (the prison island on Skellige), is easy. When you enter the fortress, look to your right for a broken wall, it's a bit high up. You'll find the collapsed ground leading underground to that POI. It's a hidden treasure. The other POI, you can reach from the cellar of Kaer Trolde during Cerys' investigation, if you choose to side with her, instead of Hjalmar, after the bloody feast. If you didn't side with her, look for videos of that quest where people have and you'll find out how to access that POI. It's a place of power.
EDIT: I've found a video of this quest from Cerys' side. I hope this helps: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr20IEiJGVk

In the second screenshot (3.jpg), that place of power is only accessible from underground. Do you remember the elven ruins you visited with Keira Metz while searching for Avallac'h? That's how you can visit that place of power.

I'm not sure about the last screenshot, if I remember correctly it's underground and it's encountered during "Missing Brother" contract, recommended level for this contract is 33 (63 in NG+). I could be wrong about this one though.

Cool, thank you guys for detailed description. Will try those places!

Update on my findings: the place of power in the castle in Skellige does not seem to be accessible unless you sided with Cerys and she unlocked that door. I tried just to go there on my own - the door is locked.

With places reachable with Keira Metz - probably only with her during the quest, otherwise I can't activate that portal to get me upstairs where the Wild Hunt was spotted in the first time in these ruins. Tried to find the way around, including following the path I made with Keira previously, no luck. It seems that the only way to those marked places is through the crushed staircase and we need Keira to activate the portal.

The place on your second picture can be reached through the exit (not the original entry point) of keira quest (wondering in the dark or somthing). There was a cave entrance (the one that Geralt and Keira exit from) around the area, pretty close, less than 200 paces I wager. (Maybe it's the one on the southwest of the question mark, but I could be wrong) And before you ask, yes! You can go back through there, after completing the quest.

Remember the magic lamp? After getting the lamp, Geralt and Keira truned back and left the cave, right? Go back there and on the spot where Keira picked up the lamp, facing the monument to the Gull, on you left is a rock you can climb onto, climb up and the place of power is right in front of you, walk onward is where the question mark is, and it's a hidden treasure guarded by a golemn.

I can comfirm that on your last picture, it's a glitch! It's supposed to be an abandoned site and it happend to me too. I remember I went through all the trouble to eliminate every question mark on my first play through (and I did!) but now I'm on the new game plus, that question mark stays there!!!! So I loaded up my save and voila!

Sure hope you don't think that's how you're supposed to play an 'evil' Geralt, by refusing to help people.

You'd be better off getting the pig fellow to help you complete the quest, and then letting the villagers kill him.

Fooway_Sun, I checked, and alas, you cannot enter those rooms with the golem and place of power IF you did not help Keira to get that lamp (and I decided not to help her). When i return to this place, all the statues are inactive and the door could not be opened.
The abandoned site is a glitch, all right. I remember I cleared the threat there long ago.

katzenkrimis, I read all books about Geralt, and he was very clear about neutrality there. He did not defend the weak and poor like your Robyn Hood. So, in this case I think the book Geralt would not get involved in dispute between humans.
