Morkvarg Bugs
Hey there, i've read that the Quest of In Wolf's Clothing is one of the buggiest, but i have apparently met a new bug since i havent found anyone mentioning it, and it is that i cant talk to Morkvarg anymore, i can fight and defeat him and i already have both options to lift the curse, but i simply cannot start Morkvarg's conversation, once i get him down to the ground it gives me the option to interact but nothing happens if i press the button.

I also took a while and did some story missions and quests before returning to it, so just going to a previous save is not an option, but if anyone else experienced this or knows a way to fix it im all ears.

Sorry for the necro. Ever find a fix?

Nevermind. Found an easy fix. Meditate 3 hours at his last spawn location. He will respawn in the same place he spawned beforehand, but there is a chance he will spawn at his other spawn point. The two point I know of are the cave and the shed with his old severed leg. After he spawns, defeat him, but as soon as you land the killing blow, spam the talk button. You must be start to spam it before he falls to the ground. If he does fall to the ground, you will be unable to initiate conversation with him, but if you manage to press the talk button before he falls, you will have successfully initiated conversation with Morkvarg.

Should you fail to initiate his dialogue and he is unresponsive, don't worry. Walk a few feet away from him and he will despawn, but he wont drop his loot. After he despawns, meditate 3 hours and he'll respawn right when you close the menu. Be warned however, as Morkvarg is very aggressive and will not wait for Geralt to stand up. He will begin attacking immediately, so if you're not well equipped he can inflict some serious damage before the fight even begins.

This is also a really good tip for farming him, because he drops around 292 crowns worth of items and crafting materials, that being werewolf hide, werewolf saliva, werewolf mutagen, and a monster essence vial. Take these items to whoever offers you the best price, or craft what you need, and voila. He is a very weak enemy for a higher leveled Geralt, all things considered, so a bit of time will net you a decent amount of crowns.
