can you skip cutscenes
sorry bout this i just wanted to now since if my mom was to see a sex scene i'd get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killed (yes i still live with my mom) so can you skip cutscenes

Yeah, it's X on the XBox controller and i think Space on the Keyboard but i'm not 100% on the latter.

I've used both the spacebar & esc on the PC and that will skip the cutscenes.

I always thought a game that foregoes gameplay is a bad idea.
In any case, Witcher's gameplay is not excellent but enjoyable. And if you're gonna wait till nudity isn't a problem anymore... well let's just say you'll move out of your mother's house sooner than that's gonna happen.

While sex scenes are optional and skippable, at some points in the game you will be surrounded or talk to topless women. I guess you can pause the game in menu if you are in an area with topless women, but i'm not sure if you can go to menus while you are in a dialogue. You will be forced to talk to some topless women a couple of times

Yes, witcher 3 is all about the lore and story; but nudity doesn't have anything to do with the lore or story. I warned about nudity as well, but it sure as hell ain't something which is necessary to enjoy the lore and story.

He doesn't say he has a problem with it personally. There are cultures where sex and nudity isn't plastered on the walls of malls and busses.

The problem is about his mother seeing it, not him... it's not that uncommon for parents to be overly conservative about sex in media. And he just wants to avoid being lectured because he saw naked pixels. Definitely easier to do that than to convince a stubborn parent they shouldn't worry.

I watched Monty Python's The Meaning of Life when I was a teen, and near the end of the movie, some guy gets a final dying wish and he says he wants to be chased to death by naked female Rugby players. My parents didn't want me to watch that scene even though the whole movie parodies much more serious issues.

Some breasts and sex: What?!? That's inappropriate son! No one should see that!! You're too young for this game!

Actually those two things are completely seperate. I can somewhat relate to OP's issue, i have no problem with playing witcher 3 and seeing the nudity either. But my parents are a different story since i come from a turkish family, they would sure as hell look at me weird if they saw the nudity/sex. This is mostly because of a cultural thing, some cultures just isn't that open with sex/nudity as others are.
