I found them to be about the same difficulty, with Imlerith being slightly more difficult. I had all griffin gear but had focused almost exclusively on melee skills ( I read no guides so I had no idea griffin gear was better for people who used a lot of signs ) and his shield gave me trouble. Still got him on the first try.
More importantly, the revenge kill cut scene was one of my absolute favorites in a game, it's so hard to pull off without being cheesy in video games but they managed it here with the little dialogue and then seeing Imlerith sit there in agony waiting for Geralt to slowly walk over and grab Imlerith's own mace and cutting to black right as he uses it to smash his head like a pumpkin, I loved it. Vesemir was never developed enough for me to care about the revenge, it was more about the satisfaction of seeing the hunted become the hunters. I don't even recall if you ever even kill Eredin yourself because the plot immediately takes your attention away from the battle.
No spoilers here for anyone who hasn't played the Mass Effect trilogy ( which I love, just making a comparison ) but anyone who has played ME:3 surely can recall a revenge cutscene that is the epitome of cheese, I always feel embarrassed for a few seconds after watching it.
Really didn't mean to ramble so much, just wanted to point out how through timing and execution alone the game delivers a cutscene that makes you think "hell yes" without even spending much time developing Imlerith as a character
"Spoilers"... lol these guys
How's mentioning the Blood Baron a spoiler by any stretch of the imagination? You're being excessively sensitive.
omg revealing the existence of a character is a spoiler, omigoshomigosh I can't read this *sticks head into the ground like an ostrich*
Anyways, I'll stop replying now. No use, it seems.
Eredin on the other hand should have been killed by repeatedly kicking him in the balls.
How can you igni when he is teleporting faster than i can blink lol! You must be a pro :P
Haven't faced Eredin yet. Can't wait! Imlerith was rage worthy... i hope Eredin isn't as bad.

What!! I only used Quen. Never thought of using Yrdin! :O
PSSSSSSSS To all the little babies:
Don't worry, i only spoiled one of the 3 last bosses, not to mention Imlerith is foreshadoed throughout the entire game... soo.... pay more attention, idiots. OH! He is also the Hunt rider who chased Geralt in the begining. Go figure right???
Protip: Don't go on the Community Hub of an RPG. Learned this the hard way.
