Merge the file correctly. Review the merge process by remerging, taking another look at the unresolved conflicts if there were any.
And for once, tell what mods edit this file in the first place.
This is not something i am saying randomly. This is what we w3 modders often tell.
Instead of manually looking into the merged file... Among other negative things, it can often be like looking for a needle in a haystack regarding e.g. brackets.
