Final Mission: Tedd Deireadh Loading Screen Crash

After the cutscene with Ciri and the white frost, the game briefly goes back to the tower and portal and then proceeds to load to the next cinematic. However, the game crashes on the loading screen on this point and I can't figure out a way to get past this.

I've tried reloading a previous save on the mission: On Thin Ice, and the crash still persists on the same cutscene for Tedd Deireadh.I've also tried reloading a previous save on the same quest in version 1.04 back when I was able to complete the game, but the crash still happens.

Does anyone know how I can get through this? Any help is appreciated.

Damn, did you ever find a fix? Im having this problem too. Were you running mods?

I ended up playing through the entire two expansions storylines, and after having those completed, I was able to finally beat the main storyline with no crashes.

Yeah I had to load an earlier save, lower the settings to low quality and it finally loaded, now im on NG+ and I crash during the sword training right in the beginning, FML.
