Stuck in hunt for bear school gear!

im stuck in a castle ruin while searching for the bear school gear set,i've picked up the gear in the throne room and wanna leave,but the jail door i came through is locked and there is no key,there is an opening in front of me with the lever in the throne room,but it doesen't do anything,how do i get out? please help

Check the jail doors in the hallway. The lever should have opened them. One leads to a lower cavern and you can get out there after exploration.

Well there is only one jail door i could exit through,it's the one i came in through,but it's still locked,even after the lever in the end

pretty simple: since 1.11, the lever in the throne room next to the grate is unresponsive and wont let you leave the room with the diagrams, so theres NO WAY to get the ursine basic gear.
(Unless you install the debug console and cheat your way out, that is.)

this problem still exists, did exactly what the above video shows... end up falling thru map and being re-dropped ouside the castle... solution works
