Thank you! I just noticed it is the same location in which you are doing secondary quest Monster Slayer - you are following dead bodies with witcher senses and the crate is along the way, maybe that's why it isn't grouped with other upgrade quests.

Sometimes I found that quest markers for the witcher gear quests would disappear. It would fix itself after I switched to and back from a different quest.

I went to that triangle shaped island and looked right at where the chest is supposed to be. There isn't even a chest there. I noticed in that video that he had a quest linked to finding it but i've never came across that. In fact, when I checked my quest log, "Scaevenger Hunt: School of Wolf Part 2" isn't in my active quests or even my completed/failed quests. Its like its in limbo, and I have no idea how to bypass this bug.

Map for Enhanced Wolf Trousers, which includes also Enhanced Gauntlets and Enhanced Steel Sword) is sold by the Blacksmith in Lindenvale, Velen.

Location: Kaer Morhen, N of the fortress towards Lakeside Hut, swim across the lake to the triangle-shaped small island and the chest is underwater

I reinstalled the game (because i needed those trousers bad :P) and the chest was right there literally where I was standing before. Definitely the weirdest bug I've come across... I mean, a bug where an actual asset disappears in the game, I've never encountered that.
