Or decrease difficulty. Bashing head when you are angry won´t work.
thats totally not true, i did the quest when i was below the recommended level. I indeed had some issues too, but all you need to do is understand their tactics and use some oil and healing and stuff like that.
when a wraith dissapears then that means it will blink right next to you within half a second or so, immediately attacking and staggering you. this means you have to avoid attacks like these at all costs. just roll away when you see a wraith doing this (not too fast though or you'll be done rolling before it even blinks and thus it will still blink right next too you). quen also works for this but the wraith attacks twice here (maybe even three times dont know for sure), so this wont help that much.
after you've rolled and when the wraith is done attacking you can just keep bashing at it untill another wraith is about to attack.
when it comes to signs yrden works like others said, but also feel free to use quen (gives you a little bit more time to roll away if you didnt notice a wraith was gonna blink attack you).
also ofc wraith oil and healing is usefull.
after a few attempts i did manage to win both fights
The problem was trying to use Yrden I think. Firstly, if you stay in the trap circle you just get surrounded which is lethal. Secondly I found if I tried to roll out, refresh Quen and then try to put down a new Yrden the wriaths would get to me before I could complete the job most times and hurt me real bad.
This may be just me as I don't really play action RPGs much, more TB and RTwP games like DOS and PoE, so I'm probably just not quick enough. Probably should not be playing Death March, lol. Another reason maybe that I haven't upraded Yrden. Dunno.
However when I tried again I forgot about Yrden and kept it dead simple. Attack a wraith until Quen broke (or I noticed a teleport happening, as pointed out by Angry Apple), roll away immediately, refresh Quen, select a reasonably isolated wraith to attack next, rinse and repeat. This worked with no trouble at all to to speak of.
