Bad Ending, Good Ending, Hearts of Stone
Why people always say: For the good end you have to rescue Olgierd von Everec
I mean Gunter O'Dim isnt really evil he is only a "special businessman" with no morality.
If you fulfill the contract you have no problems.
Moreover, it is not O'Dim fault if you sign a bad Contract.
I was lucky with O'Dims reward at the end :steamhappy:

Though I agree with BuzzardBee, I'd like to note that judging by in-game books and other characters' references, he is clearly evil and the contract may have intentional flaws. Like O'Dimm is speaking that every contract has an addition written in small letters, or that Olgierd got stone heart as a side-effect and also that even spirits feel unrest when you speak of him.

It seems everyone has their own definition of bad or evil, if I had the option I would have done away with both of them.

Gaunter O'Dimm, has the initials GOD. I think that says enough about the storyline.

Yeah, I always do the "bad" ending.

I dislike Olgierd, and the ending makes me giggle. Plus itams. :trollface_boulder:

You really have no good reward for a good ending, you got the viperswort, but think it gives better gear, better taking the saddel for roach.

This post is almost 6 years old

Despite the post being 5+ years old, I do not agree with the OP. Initially, I did not like Olgierd, because of what he has done, but when proceeding through the story line, I have felt compassion. He has made a huge mistake. A decision he has to pay a big price for it. At the last moment, at that temple, I decided to side with Olgierd and oppose O'Dimm because everyone deserves a second chance. Both persons have done bad things. O'Dimm started to show his face in the tavern and got some doubts when I met the professor. Yet, I have seen that Olgierd is a man with regrets. Once I managed to deal with O'Dimm, I had a great feeling when Olgierd has found peace and acknowledged Geralt's aid in this.
