But picking up all the others is not useless, infact I also pick up every single one. Reason to this is because then you receive the " ? " on the map, obviously it marks a random event. When you pick up those kind of notices, you usually get a message " A new location has been added to your map".
Of course, you don't have to pick them up if you want to have the element of surprise when exploring, but it's better to just pick them up so you don't miss any unmarked locations.

Man, it's remarkable just how much they've packed into this game. Even though the price f creating it was exorbitant, it's almost unbelievable that it didn't cost at least twice as much. I guess that's because it was almost exclusively (perhaps entirely so) done in Poland. I can't even imagine what the price tag would have been if it was a US-based product.
