That said, the bugs that have been resolved in the patches until 1.10 outnumber by far the few remaining and introduced bugs. In general it is an big improvement.
If you use the free DLC's it is advisable to uninstall, do the 1.10 update, and then re-install (and activate if needed) the free DLC's. That way you can be sure they are working fine.
Keep in mind that, if you use mods, you have to upgrade the mods so they can run on 1.10. Most mods are already upgraded, but you have to check if the mod(s) that you use are updated yet.
Also keep in mind that you have to install the 1.10 upgrade to be able to play the expansions. There is no way around it...
its too big. also i do not know if there will be any noticeable performance increase. on the other hand, i saw so many people are in trouble with 1.10. reasoning bugs, crashes after installing it.
People were saying the same thing about patch 1.05 as well. Seems like the most common problem with patch 1.10 is with people who are trying to use mods made for previous versions with it, or because Steam corrupted their files some how during patching so they had to reverify their files a few times.
Anyways, you only have to update to v1.10 from GoG, not any of the previous patches.
