I've read about it, I didn't have the issue myself, scene went smooth as butter.

However, I believe you can bypass that issue by turning all Post-processing graphic options off.

Welcome to the club.
I think this is God saying "No boobs today. Try other way".

Bump. Needs a fix or at least a confirmed way to avoid this. Tried 3 times. Last time i was able to see the nose of the boat but if froze and the game crashed again.
There are people reporting the same issue on the cdpr forums so i hope we'll get a fix in the beginning of the week.

I did it! I dont know how exactly, but I played all that part (Yay, boobs!).
Changed all graphics configurations at random, but I think is something with water and/or shadows quality...

So...go to Option to adjust graphics to what exactly? Haven't seen if the water stays calm or not around the boat.

This worked for me. I turned off EVERY option in the post-processing graphics section, and I was able to finish the quest without a crash.

Make sure Geralt takes his Viagra potion before hand.

YES!! Turned graphics settings down to the very lowest and I was able to play through.

The WATER is EVIL!! Stay out of the water!!

I watched the "Romance" scene on U-tube. In that scene Shani pukes over the side of the boat but in my game the scene was removed.

I think the game spends too much time telling stories but that that's just my opinion....
Anyway, everything works fine except for the grass looks like dead fields until I get closer.

The scene isn't removed. In order to get her to puke, you just have to give her alcohol instead of flowers.

I had a similar issue. I had hit x quickly to get thru the scene without watching it. My computer has a great graphics card, two actually. So I have no idea what did that. But its a problem.
