I used a northern wind with the cluster bomb skill to wake everyone, then went as far away as I could so that they group up and start moving towards you. Then I drank Ekkimara for lifesteal, Wraith for a quen shield every time they hit you since they deal insane damage, Maribor and Tawny for longer sustained Whirl and Blizzard to top it of making enemies move/attack slower.
Start whirling as they move closer and keep whirling while moving around til you slay them all, the potions should keep you alive, assuming you actually hit them with Whirl for the lifesteal.
I should also mention that I had the Severance enchantment on my swords which increases whirl range.
I saw someone beat it with parries, but my timing wasn't as good and 1 missed parry and you are dead, so I used... stay close dodge regular attack and stabe... rinse and repeat.
My biggest issue was trying to wake them all up without dying, then I thought of the cluster bomb perk which is amazing for just that. Fun to read about different ways that people dealt with it though :D
Whirlwind doesn't work on them and they block every your attack if you do it without setup and then can 1 shot you at anytime.
but dont get hit the moment one of them charges you all the others join in and its almost a guaranteed death
This is why you use Ekkimara for healing and Wraith for a quen shield every hit, I could stand toe to toe with all of them hitting me while whirling. Well, if you want the (IMO) best route to dealing with all of them at the same time.
just dislike that sign but a useful tip for everyone that uses it :)
Skill Tree and my inventory with items at the max damage I managed to achieve.
I like to mix it up a little though on the lower left skills, deadly precision I tend to swap in while roaming but I prefer this build for bosses, the 25% reduced damage resistance from sunder is a nice way to start fights against bosses. I pretty much used rend exclusivley for the caretaker for example, hit and dodge, repeat.
