Ведьмак 3: Дикая Охота

Ведьмак 3: Дикая Охота

The Caretaker *Spoiler*
How cool is that fight! Not nearly as agonising as the Toad Prince to be sure, and the amount of healing he can do is painful, but he is pretty simple to dodge - slow and easily readable. Man this place gives me the shivers such creepy atmosphere. The way The Caretaker looked reminded me a lot of Bloodborne and I was legitimately scared when he turned around with no face. His look reminded me of the Shadows of Yarnham soo much.

His weapon is nearly as cool as he is. I am loving this xpak! 10/10 would play again!

I love the weapon he drops. I wish they would add more unique looking weapons like that.
That fight took me completely by surprise. I thought to myself: "another guy to hit 4 or 5 times and move on"... and I was completely wrong.

Coolest boss fight of the expansion and vanilla game so far, IMO. Lets see what more will Blood and Wine will bring.

Yeah, most of the boss fights really gave me a Bloodborne/Dark Souls vibe, which is great. I really hope CDPR keeps up with that mentality, for the next one.

Same here. Especially the whole manor section and of course, the Care Taker boss himself, really felt like some folks at CDPR had just finished playing Dark Souls and remembered they were working on Hearts.

Apart from the high-cinematic content of this expansion (not a problem in my eyes), it seems they've hit the mark in story and combat. Loving the difficulty of this one on Death March - I actually have to think while in combat. I too hope and also believe that this will translate onto the next expansion.

There's so much more content in this one than I ever expected - Velen is enormous now!

Hell I would keep buying this stuff for years should they continue to make them! Long live Witcher!

On the topic of Death March - ♥♥♥♥ that boss fight at the end of the manor where you fight her greatest fear. Silent Hill vibes are strong, really reminded me of the nurses from the hospital the way they moved. And the lighting during that fight made it all the more creepier. I didn't expect the game to go from creepy at the Caretaker to psychological horror at all.

Take 1 super scary setting + a really punishing boss = sleeping with the lights on tonight hahaha
