It was a bug and it was fixed

Hello Guys,

I found the pyerog runestone diagram on the ruins next to Vikk Watchtower. You will need to loot the key and book from the dead body on the entrance and then start climbing util you find a chest next to harpy nest.

PS: When you almost reach the top it can be tricky, because it makes you think that you have reach top of ruins, but make sure to check the edges and you will find stair that will lead to the chest

You can check the link bellow for reference in the map

They are supposed to do something... if you unpack the game to make mods you can see that the code points to a database entry for stat/skill modifiers, just like any other rune, but the code that the Pyerog and Tvargo point to doesnt exist anywhere. THats why you get "error" as your weapon stat.

I made a mod that "fixes" them... adds 5% instant kill chance to Tvarog and the Pyerog makes the wepon no longer degrade. :D

It son the Nexus.... I might have to update it though.

They are an enchanting recipe from the hearts of stone dlc. It doubles the regen bonus from food when you enchant a weapon / item.

I never realised this because they're both spelled wrong. Dammit

I got these and realized too late that the dumpling runeword doubles the duration, not the healing rate. So if you're using gourmet, the runeword isn't better than normal runes.

Well I just had the pyerog made, installed it in a sword, didn't see any change at first. But upon a better look: hey presto! The sword is now 2 or 3 levels higher than it was :) In fact, I can't rightfully use it anymore, but since i had it equipped while installing the runestone i now have a level 28 sword equipped while being a level 27 character, AND I can use it xD
Once I unequip it I can't re-equip it (I tried it, and then went back to last save), but no problem, since it's the highest damage sword I can use at this moment.
I never saw this feat mentioned in the discussion, I wonder why? Anyways, I like it a lot, and it was a great easter egg. So now you know what pyerogi alone does. I don't have the tvarog stone yet, let's see

So, it seems, they are only meant as part of this Runesmith enchantment.
Thanks man, I will use it in any of my swords soon 😅

Note how old his post is, game balance changed a lot since then. This enchantment isn't much of a use now.

Food regeneration speed has been nerfed a lot, from 50-80 to 10-15 hp per second, which is a glacial rate.
Food no longer has weight, so if you don't sell food, you'll never run out anyway. Because of that, increase of overall healing per food item that comes with extended duration is mostly irrelevant.

So the only practical gain from this rune (or Gourment perk) is having to open inventory less for continous healing. Which made sense when food healed almost as fast as Swallow, and lasted only 5 seconds. Now, not much.
