Triss's voice actress...epic fail. (Spoilers)

I remember seeing these threads pop up back around launch and hadn’t read for the sake of spoilers. Forgot about it all until I reached the first encounter :( Not sure what happened, but the actress’s heart doesn’t seem to be in it. The delivery feels weak for those of us who felt the performances of the past Trisses. Sorceresses in the Witcher world are cunning, manipulative, scheming, powerful masters of the tongue and get what they want (long term planners, think Senator Palpatine). This current Triss doesn’t fit the role after her line deliveries giving to a false believability of having this stature. What a shame :\

Only after you've heard Jaimi Barbakoff's performance in W2, then you'll begin to feel that her act in W3 is somewhat a lackluster. It just doesn't sound as passionate and immersive as her previous performance, probably due to the focus being shifted towards Ciri and Yennifer.

I actually feel as though Geralts shift of focus to those two put her performance right on par.

It was really solidified during their conversation about denial during the early parts of her quest line. Geralt says how he knew a guy who lost his legs then ignored it saying they only got in the way, but that he was lying to himself.


She replied "I understand him perfectly."
