Wraith not dying, bug?

I just installed the last few free DLCs and the xpac. I started a new game+ and find the wraith just north of the Mill marker in White Orchard. I cast Yrden and smacked it a few times and its health is gone, but its not actually dying. Did I miss something about common wraiths or is this a bug?

What do you mean "Not Dying" Does it like, die in a few moments and come back like in a day? or is it physically not dying at all (not vanishing)

The wraith's health was gone, but it wasn't ever dying as if it still had health left. I was wailing on it and it wouldn't fall. I reloaded and continued and never had another problem with wraiths, though. One-time thing I think.

Same with me... can not kill that ♥♥♥♥♥ - hp is gone, but I can not kill it - even in yrden trap...

What should I do?

There is a story quest for that particular Wraith, look around and you'll find out. It needs something "special" to be done before it can be destroyed. Not giving out any more spoilers... :)

lure it closer to the house and kill it and then kill it again underneath the graveyard

Dasdasdasd is right, same thing happened to me so i lured it to the door and it disappeared

Buy the guide. You'll know what they are talking about. Special way to kill that stubborn wraith.

- thats because i asked about direct location. just punch out door to old church with Aard and kill wraith in cellar

The one in the graveyard is supposed to disappear so you have to go down in the crypt to finish it. I ran into this problem and I think I either just reloaded a recent save or i just left the area and came back. It finally worked as it was supposed to.

Same here, happened to me not that long ago. Bug must be if all of us our experiencing it. My son was in the room so I ask him he told me to just restart from another save. Worked fine then. Pain I know but LOVE the game! A lot of little annoying bugs, but you deal because Its The Witcher man!!I Was in Toussant The other day and just got done buying from and innkeeper, The clever clogs I think, I told him good bye and now I'm in some kind of other world space and cant get out. Dudes just standing there watching me jump around like some kind of moron.

I just had to get closer to the tomb whilst fighting the wraith and it died. It seemed like it wouldnt unless I was closer to the grave and the quest inside.
