Did they change witcher gear set bonus requirements with the next gen update?
As far as I recall you needed grandmaster quality for the bonuses to work. Now it seems they work below as well. Was this a change with the update back then and I overlooked it previously?

On a new save-file the set bonuses only work with grandmaster upgrade.

On new game+ they work right away even with the lowest tier upgrade.

Ah so that was why it showed in green for me in lower tiers. Thanks. I was recently doing another NG+ run and I haven't noticed it before. Good to know.
