Use Quen - Does not matter. One hit kills through all stacked buffs.
Yrden works somewhat. To no great extent.
My level is 70 right now. The quest level is 60.
This is a bug. I am looking for a fix or a workaround. Fighting this thing is stupid. Death is inevitable. My swords will degrade.
You can always repair in combat (at least in BBB) should you need to.
If all else fails you can try 20x strong attack route like with that Skellige griffin (assuming you can evade long enough to land that many attacks). There's potion that gives you guaranteed 5% health dmg for strong attack + tawny owl for quick stamina regen.
EDIT: or try mod that allows equipping all abilities not just 12 maybe even respec just for this fight
The NG+ in Wicher 3 is just basically "add 30 levels to everything, monsters, items, and that is it, hope it works".
The exact problem here is the "enemies X levels above the player get the skull icon and insane buffs against the player". It is not that you are too weak to fight it, it is that its level is too high for you. Go and get some more levels, assuming that is possible. Maybe it is.
As opposed to what? Figuratively taking 15 minutes?
I guess he means no rounding or New York 15 mins but rather actual 15 mins elapsed on some objective clock :)
Yeah this lvl business pure b.o.llocks. Only person here for whom leveling makes sense anyway'd be Ciri but we're instead leveling old fox Geralt. As if these couple months really mattered compared to what eight decades prior (isn't he 94 or so). Only gear "leveling" would make sense like obtaining unique gear with special powers but that's far less sexy. What I find especially hilarious's that you've lvl 5 wolves in Velen then lvl 22 wolves in Skellige and now lvl 35 wolves in Velen. Wtf aren't these same wolves walking forest or do thousands of village folk get killed by every single one now? But anyway it's just game and keeping it real'd be boring game play wise as well.
