But once you pass the early stage of the game you should have little trouble buying plants, it's the monster parts that are hard to get, especially cave troll and cockatrice livers.
Right? Those are holding up two of my oils. And I already finished the main game!
I've just started, trying to determine how much of my effort I should put towards being a gardener. :)
You'll find a cockatrice to the west of the lake between Yantra and the Oxenfurt Gate in Novigrad (it has a guarded treasure in it).
You'll also find a cave troll once you clear the bandit camp south of crookback bog, it appears a few days after you clear it. There are others, in fact I'm sure there are several in Skellige, but I can't remember exactly where.
Oh you can be a hoarder and a good player, through the game iself might become boring ;) in the end you loot to craft and to sell. If tons of loot can´t be used for either, hoarding becomes a waste of effort.
Thaks, but...like I said. I already finished the main game. Those places and monsters are all done and gone.
