Help with Imlerith fight.
Usual story, I can't survive more than a couple of seconds in the second stage, not long enough to get any feel for the sequence and correct reponses, although I can easily grind down the first 2/3 of his health bar. I takes forever though.

I need a way to cheese this 'cos I'm absolutely fed up with this fight. I have a respec potion. I am thinking I could do something with alchemy and decoctions but I haven't done anything with alchemy at all really so far so I know nothing about it.

Any tips on how to cheese this with alchemy would be great - I need survivability so I can work out a way to sequecne the required dodges and get the attack in when his mace gets stuck.

Doersn't help that 1.12 arrived right in the middle of this this fight, it seems to have changed things a bit, less stamina regen and sign intensity on my build/equipment for some reason.

The path is 2-3 attacks to be dodged/rolled before he teleports in your back. Try to execute them correctly to save quen and land a couple more hits. I've been two shotted a couple of tries until I decided to just dodge and roll his burn phase. Guess what, it was the try I actually killed him. Also pop the 20 seconds heal on time and a 10 seconds food right before he starts his phase.

Never tried an Alchemy build against Imlerith.
I´ve beaten him multiple times with a full combat build, full sign an a mixed build between these two.

With a sign or a mixed sign+something else, Quen is the key. Especially if you have good intensity and have the alternate mode to heal yourself with his massive hits.

"Rage management" (I think it is called like that) skill is also very usefull because it lets you use adrenaline points to cast signs, so you can pretty much spam Quen.

I believe signs are the easiest way to beat him.

With Alchemy, I really don´t know but I´ve heard that the Ekidna decotion is op because every action you perform that costs stamina, heals you.

Took me a lot of tries to beat him. I used archgriffin decoction and quen. For the second part, I dodged when I saw him starting to teleport and hit him only when it looked safe to do so (after about 3 teleports). Rinse and repeat.
