Most OP Gwent deck in your opinion?
I think the monster deck is broken.

to play against it doesn't seem to be so OP. the AI usually unloads everything, with multi-melee-summon, i pass, all the other rounds are a walk in the park.

for me the most OP is the nilfg. deck the second opponent in the tournament uses..especially if your deck is heavy spy built too.

Against Monster I try to have snow(?) card to reduce all those to strength 1 and if there're many try to kill them all with dragon or monster card. Only tried normal gwent difficulty though.

Interesting I only had hard time beating first opponent because he had many high-point hero cards. From then on I didn't have to reload. Almost exclusively I play Northern faction btw.

I think the moster deck is op because the AI doesn't know how to use weather cards properly.

Nilfgardian. Because a tie can get you a win, all the spy cards and the leader ability to take a card of their own choosing off the enemy discard pile, basically allowing you to recycle your spy cards.

Once I got enough monster cards with Muster ability (vampire and crones), Monster deck became beastly. Its only weakness is if opponent is heavily relaying on spy cards since Monster deck does not have any spy cards on its own. I try to have few Decoy cards in the deck to play some fakes and counter spy cards.

Nilfgaardian deck with lots of spy cards is also decent option. It feels the deck is bit more reliant on special cards, especially Bitting Cold due to high strength of spy cards. Once you get solid selection of special cards and heroes, it becomes smooth sail.

A tie is very rare though. It happened...what..like 3 or 4 times outta my 50-60 matches in total?

Still, it increases your win chance by 6% in your case, which is more useful than playing first for example.

Northern realms ability is useless in rounds when you need to strategically pass on that round.

Monster ability is quite decent, on the other hand.

Well, spy cards are the most useful in the end, it is where the games are won.

Otherwise, I'd pick Monsters over Nilfgardians.

That, and very strong hero deck is what makes Nilfgardian the best.

I tend to play my spies early so that I better see all cards I've at disposal. Usually enemy captures these and plays them back. Then I either decoy them or let them die and later resurrect with Yen or 5-point ballista card. Against computer I find Northern clear weather leader ability most useful because I can give nasty surprise in last moment and reenable my cards :P

I nornally just let them summon as many as they can and then just place a freeze card and make them useless, then kill them with range.

I would go with Nilfgaard deck. And most OP combination is with Emhyr The Relentless leader card. Basically, that deck is nuts imo. You can pretty much spawn huge amount of spies, especially if opponent is using spy deck too. I also put two decoy cards in my deck. I think that this deck is just too OP. Northern Realms deck is close, but what makes Nilfgaard better imo is this leader card and also huge amount of medics. It is just too easy to beat anyone in later stages of the game. Thankfully, Skellige deck makes things intereting in B&W.

In terms of npc decks the nilfgaardian noble at vizima palace seemed to have a pretty decent deck. Mind you that showdown is only challenging because of a lack of cards on your part. He still seemed to have a pretty decent deck. Still playing through though so I may change my opinion.

Naaah, nothing beats Poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Infantry. When you put some Poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Infantry in your NR deck, be sure that you're gonna whoop some ass.

PFI almost totally useless but if we just want to pass time bullshitting here... fine :P

You got it all wrong. Poor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ infantry with commander's horn is just too OP. Yeah, maybe I should stop

Anyway, for NP deck, I kinda like siege combo with Foltest Siegemaster. It is powerful imo.
