What weapon and oil do I use against the wild hunt?

Ok for the hounds that's obvious (silver sword + elementa oil) but what about the warriors because different people say different things. Some say they are non humans so use steel sword + hang man oil. Some say they have a silver health bar so use silver sword + specter oil. What's the actual answer?

Use elemental for hounds,and hanged man ,is fine .Or Atleast that is how i deal with them.

Can you apply hanged man on the silver sword? Haven't actually even tried to.
