Propably?
No, that's not it. I mean like the "mods" section of the menu that shows up when you pause the game. I have a mod installed that is supposed to be altered by going into that menu, but the menu is not showing up.
But I did nothing special to put it there, it just showed up.
You sure the mod you want to use is compatible with patch 1.12?
Mods can add a menu entry. Read post 9.
Sorry but you're not being specific. Are you speaking about the .xml file that pertains to said mod inside a folder within nexus called.... cache? because that's the only area inside my NMM folder that has a .xml file pertaining to Absolute Camera mod for my Witcher 3 game.
Also, the mod is compatible with 1.21 update says so by the modder himself.
By the way I am a new person, just stumbled onto this subject via google as I am having the same dilemma as the OP.
Just copy paste the file:
RGTmenu.xml
(from the zip) directly into this folder location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc
be sure to do this when the game is not running and also make sure to back up your save files anytime you're before you start modding your game. Enjoy the camera mod, its a blessing and a curse. Works as intended, but so many more options for me to obsess over. Ill be sure to link my preset once I've perfected it. D:
