Getting too toxic
So I think it's pretty cool how if you go over the toxicity limit then in cut scenes Geralt's veins look really dark like the poison is taking time to clear out.

But I just want to confirm. If I go over the toxicity limit is there any lingering damage I need to clear out with a potion or something?

No. Toxicity goes away as the potion starts to wear out, only when you start getting close to your maximum about 5% away of max do you start losing health. If you want to reset the effects of your potions like in battle there is a potion for that.

Meditating just one hour does that too.:Geralt:

Yup, if you pass the toxicity threshold your health will start declining until the potion's effect wears off, you can also use White Honey potion or meditate to remove all toxicity from Geralt's blood.

How about Death March difficulty? Still applies?

The idea behind meditating is that time passes by super fast and if a potion lasts 30 mins and toxicity starts going down after that, in an hour it should be completely gone. So it wouldn't matter what difficulty.

Thanks, I thought it was some kind of a fixed thing with meditation.

Just tested a Foglet decoction playing on DM. Effect and toxicity were gone within an hour of meditation. Just FYI.
