How to reset max Toxicity from 1,000,000
Ok. I did something BAD. I feely and humbly admit it. I grovel before you ashamed. But there is no way I can find (CD Project Red removed me from their forum) to reset the mistake I made.
and it WAS a mistake.

Can anyone tell me how I can reset my max toxicity value so that I have normal toxicity? Please. It took months before I SAW that it was changed. too late to go back. I feel appropriately humiliated, defeated, and ostracized by the whole gaming community , that I've ruined my own game. I've played all the way to level 22. I want to continue.

Is there anyone who would/could help me? I've been repenting my crime since a month after the game was released. I've played almost every day since then, MONTHS, is that not enough? If there's a way to fix this, please help me.

If you're going to flame me, stop right there. There's nothing left of me but a burnt shell. I get it. I'll never use a cheathapens "trainer" again....just wanted the fast travel, could have gotten that in a mod...........

Damn, dude. No one cares you cheated in a singleplayer game.

How did you achieve in the first place? Install a mod? Edit an ini file or something? Hard to undo if we don't what exactly you changed.

Well Im here now looking for that toxicity cheat. I mean, I maxed acquired tolerance and heightened tolerance, but can't get my toxicity level to reach even 200. Its now around 170 or 160, and im lv 34, nearly beat the game.

Why would anyone cheat in a game where there is a difficulty so easy that its basically impossible to lose?

Are the cheats the result of executable code, or a modification made directly to game binaries? If so, it might be as easy as a fresh install. You'll probably need to abandon your existing save, too.

After you've done that, you may want to take your computer to the nearest Planned Parenthood for a full battery of STD testing. Running "trainers" of any kind are analog to picking up partners at the syphilis clinic. Those things weren't even safe back in the DOS days when I used to write them.

You need to explore more and find more formulae. You should be able to get around 240 with only acquired tolerance.

With acquired tolerance at max level you get 1 more maximum toxicity for every alchemy formula you know (you don't have to craft them, just have the formula).

If you only have 170 max toxicity you are missing a lot of formulas. You can try buying them from herbalists/alchemists or by finding them at guarded treasure sights, bandit camps, etc etc.

The formula, as in the recipes for your potions and stuff. Every potion, oil, and bomb has 3 levels; basic, enhanced, and superior. Do you have all 3 versions of everything?

Is your acquired tolerance skill maxed? You need to put 3 points in it.

Bombs (8 types) and oils (12) all have three tiers ea.

Almost all potions have three tiers -- Killer Whale is an exception as it only has one.

Chort lure, Drowner pheremones, Pops Mold antidote, Trial of the Grasses -- only one tier each.

Decoctions -- also only one tier each (not counting White Raffard's Decoction, which is instead a potion). Formulas matter even if you never made 'em.

B&W adds yet more alchemy formula (mutagen transmutations, dyes) but the vanilla game has more than enough formulas to go over 240 or so max toxicity and allow a three-decoction build (with Heighted Tolerance to avoid health loss) and without needing B&W's Manticore armor.

Learn your forums buddy... instead of the long winded excuses you should have just asked "say hypothetically I did this, how would I fix doing this stupid thing".... Your lucky this game is old and single player.

As for fixing your issue, best and easiest way would be to start from scratch with your "trainer" engine that you're 100% using because you're "dissabled" because you don't know what else you could have done to your game if it took you 22 levels to figure out your toxicity was off.... just a suggestion...

Nope, I just started using this trainer a few days ago. I just don't understand why my toxicity level is that low, Ive never used alchemy that much ever since I began playing this game. Ive only used a few thunderbolts. And as for today I wanted to try a Tank-Alchemy Build

I mostly have those enchanced and superior I found from that Alchemy in Skellige whom I needed to finish a quest first. Ive maxed both Heightened and Acquired Tolerance. And still my toxicity level is only around 170
