about the endings(spoiler alert !!!!! be careful)
I finished the game today but my ending was very sad because you know the worst ending ciri gets in portal doesnt return geralt goes to swap to retrive vesemirs madellion and avenge ciri but there is 3 thing that makes me wonder did ciri really dies because if she could manage to survive in the other endings why she cant survive if I act to her righteous and like a conservative father?,and does geralt dies at the end ? and last in journal under something ends something begins there is a writing that "my story began near vizima with geralt dreaming a dream of yennefer ciri and wild hunt it ends in temeria as well shortly after ciri entered the tower on undvik never to return geralt returned to velen and entered crook bog" who is the dreaming this things and all of this was a dream ?

It is presumed that she's dead because of her close relationship with Geralt. To get that ending, Geralt had to have demonstrated that he had little faith in her ability to control her powers. He had to have cause her to doubt her own abilities and felt confused.

If he didn't allow her to make her own decisions or supported her decisions, she would have lost confidence in herself.

So while in all three endings, she was able to successfully defeat the White Frost, in that one she was unable to survive. Now it could be that she's still alvie but injure or too weak to have returned on her own. Everyone would have still believed her to be dead but she could still be alive.

It could also be that she was taken prisoner or merely lost but it is far more likely that she is dead. Geralt certainly believes that to be the case because he seems resigned to just giving up and dying himself once he's gotten back the medallion.

All of those narrratives are by Dandelion who is a bard. He's the one who relates all of these stories. And no, this was not all a dream. The game begins with a dream because Geralt tends to have dreams, especially of Ciri, when he senses that she is in danger. And his dream certainly foreshadowed what was to happen at Kaer Morhen during the battle.

Remember how he said that he saw the Wild Hunt and they were after Ciri and he couldn't do anything to save her. He just stood there like a stump. Well he was frozen when the Wild Hunt arrived and he was powerless to do anything when Ciri and Vesemir were attacked. So in part his dream did come true.
