How do i trigger "The Ghost Of The Past" quest? (Find letho)

I already did The fall of the house of reardon quest and i want to find Letho but i can't. I didn't put my witcher 2 savefile in the witcher 3 and in Vizima no one asked me if Letho was dead or alive.

If you want Letho in your game, choose YES. Then when questioned, save that Letho is alive and he will appear in your game. But this will only work with a new game. It cannot and will not alter a game already in progress if it believes that Letho was killed at the end of W2.

Oh... ok, i'll have to start a third playthrough i guess haha.
