disable RT and problem solved.
or disable RT shadows and RT reflection to reduce it , but unless you really want RT its better to just off it.
Or use RT mods to customise RT further for better performance (25-50% with RT) , you can also read more about memory leak on there to see what the actual issue is about. (nexus)
the issue and solution is described there.
it could also be the dx 12 itself, since dx 11 is more stable for some people and vice versa, you need to test to see actual data.
it also depends how many fps you going for? are you on vysync , gysync?
what graphics you have ? ultra + , lower?
resolution? 16:9 ? 8k? 16k?
naturally making sure you have newest drivers , visual C++ 2015-2022 , and that NVIDIA has game .exe on max performance etc is on.
make sure you not overheating gpu or CPU when in game after 2 hours?
maybe do a new fresh reinstall with new save?
or try deleting user settings , and .bak and dx 12 same and re do settings in game again?
Hot damn that's a lot of info (thank you!)
I am pretty sure I was doing Ultra.
Hmm I could try dx 11.
Resolution is 2560x1440
FPS 60 would be nice, anything around or above that and it look smooth.
Sorry brain fog, 8k? 16k? what are you referring to?
I just updated my drivers right before I started my play through last night.
Where do I find this exactly? " NVIDIA has game .exe on max performance etc is on" I looked in the control panel for NVIDIA. Didn't find it.
