Delusion Level 2

I've just be confronted by a group of men and one of the options before me is to try and fight them all off with just my swords. It says that DELUSION LEVEL 2 is required if I want to put a spell on them.

My question is: How do I get to Delusion Level 2. I have no idea of to go about doing this. I'm VERY new to this game and know next to nothing about it. Can someone please help me out?

Signs are one of your skill trees, you can upgrade it from there

And then you have to equip that upgrade for it to do anything

Yo have to upgrade Axii in the signs section of the ability tree. Then you have to equip that Delusion skill into one of your slots.

Level up. Also find Places of Power, they award ability points as well.

Level up. Also find Places of Power, they award ability points as well.

There's also one unique food item that gives you +2 points but that comes towards end of game.
