Ciri Witcher Ending

I'd really like to get the black horse from Emhyr for bringing Ciri to him. How does it affect the ending of the game and can I still do Reasons of State (Kill Radovid)?

You need to make sure the either Radovid or Dijkstra lives. If one of them does, they manage to hand Nilfgaard enough losses that Emhyr's own people will kill him. If he's dead, Ciri cannot become an empress and will become a witcher despite having been taken to see Emhyr and having Geralt refuse the money but accept the black horse instead.

So Nilfgaard has to lose for Ciri to still become a witcher? Really wanted Nilfgaard to win but I guess Radovid is my only choice now. Can't let Dijkstra kill Roche.

Well Nilfgaard is seen as the aggressor, the invader here. But yeah, he's the emperor and her father. If he's dead, she cannot become empress and so long as all the other decisions you made were mostly positive for Ciri, she'll become a witcher like Geralt.

Still better than Radovids witch hunts though :D Thanks for the help.
