Fists of Fury Skellige Red Skull?!
For some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, every fighter in Skellige is "??" level and hits me in one hit even though im lvl 31? I've done this quest before and they were 1-2 levels higher than me.

Despite them having red skulls, you can easily punch them out, it's all about blocking and countering. But yeah, one hit and you're out.

A tactic i used since the first fight is to be far away from them so they use strong attacks instead of those pesky quick attack, dodge and quickly land 1-2 hits but for some reason, they block/counterattack during their attack animation and hits me in one freaking hit. This is absolut bullshait but at least there's no money involved.

They learn new skills as the game goes on, they'll learn to block and counter. What you really have to do is just counter above all, any red skull fist fight can be over in 3 - 5 counters followed with a heavy hit.

Of course they can block/counter but what i meant is that they can do that DURING their attacks. And theres no 3-5 counters, just one block and 1 quick attack and its over. I found dodging to be more efficient.

And that's what I meant, they can block/counter during your attacks, while at first they can't even block or counter.

Dodging is mostly efficient if you're surrounded, but even then, as far as Red Skull level fist fights go, your best bet is to counter and deliver a heavy hit, dodging becomes a gamble when the enemy can take you out in one hit. You need to learn how every fighter improves upon the last you fought, the last fist fights are basically counter fests from both sides, but still easy to win once you get a hang of their animations.

I dont mean my attacks, their attacks. I learn quickly how to do this and that. The only thing i was angry/confused about was that they were ?? level, not in my first playthrough.

Dunno constantly blocking (holding right mouse button on PC) + dodging backward or to side on incoming attacks and then fast attack once or if you like gambling twice worked for me every single time in boxing. Maybe because I've points in 100% dam reduction during dodge? Gradually enemy vitality goes to zero just concentrate and don't make any mistakes. Plus AI so bad that if you get totally on his side or behind enemy even stops and waits for quite long while before moving or attacking again.

I had a horrible time with these fights. Just could not beat the human opponents. Grim took me about 3 dozen tries.

What ended up working for me was stumbling on what you alluded here, i.e. moving to the side and so forth. I did that by simply mashing all the keys and madly clicking the mouse. Really just not my thing man. Wanted to complete the quest, but this was for me the hardest part of the game.

I did all the Fist of Fury for Skellige at level 28 and they were around level 35ish. The fist fights are incredibly easy.

Wait for them to strike.
Counter.
Two quick attacks and a strong attack.
Rinse and repeat.
Counter again if they block your attack and get ready to dodge if needed.

Keep launching a strong attack non-stop. They will block them, but it will go through sometimes. You will win in the end eventually.
